Dr. Kent graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology.  He then spent 2 years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying medical sciences while working as a teaching assistant in the anatomy department.  His love of anatomy, along with a desire to understand the nature of health and disease, led him to Northwestern Health Sciences University where he graduated with a doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine in 2006.

Dr. Kent has acquired certifications and completed continuing education in a broad range of health disciplines including, joint mobilization, muscle release, nutrition, therapeutic exercise, acupuncture, and Ayurvedic medicine.  He combines health philosophies from the East and West to create specific and unique treatments for each patient.  Treatments include gentle joint adjustments, muscle release, and acupressure to relieve tension, enhance movement, and align posture.  He also teaches his patients healthy movement patterns and offers guidance on how to give their body the nutrients it needs.  Dr. Kent strives to optimize the natural healing process in each of his patients.

“When I was 5 years old, I saw my father receive an adjustment from a local chiropractor. As he rose from the table after the treatment, I was certain he had grown taller. To this day, I can clearly picture the relief on his face as he bent down to put on his shoes. I was so impressed by his response that I spent many evenings finding sore spots on my parents and doing my best to adjust them away. Mom and Dad were always encouraging. They often came home from work with aches and pains only to be completely healed by bedtime. Earning a degree and acquiring a state license didn’t make me a chiropractor, it’s simply what I’ve always been. My skills have certainly refined since those evenings with my mother and father, but my intent and excitement with each treatment hasn’t changed. I adjust and advise each of my patients with the same consideration and care that I give my family.” – Dr. Kent
