Is This for You? An Invitation onto the Reiki Path and the Journey Back to Yourself.

People ask me all the time what Reiki training is really like, and I always smile because it’s not something you can fully capture in a neat little definition. Reiki isn’t something you sign up for the way you might take a class to learn a new skill, a craft, or a technique. Reiki is more like stepping into a room and realizing the room has been waiting for you.

When students arrive—especially for Reiki Level 1—there’s always a mix of emotions. A little nervousness. A little curiosity. A little excitement. Sometimes even a quiet, unspoken fear of the unknown. But then we settle in, breathe together, and you can feel the entire energy shift. The space softens. The room grounds itself. And almost every time, there’s this moment when someone realizes:

“Oh… I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.”

I love that moment.

And I love what comes next even more—watching who people become over the course of their training. Not in a dramatic, movie-scene kind of way. It’s subtle. Gentle. Shoulders lower. Eyes soften. Their breath becomes steadier. Their intuition wakes up. They begin to trust themselves in ways they weren’t sure they could.

Reiki has this quiet, beautiful ability to weave people back into their own truth.

When I asked one of my Level 3 students what impacted her most about her training, she didn’t mention the manual or the symbols. She talked about the real-time practice with gentle guidance in a supportive learning environment—the hands-on moments where she could feel energy shifting as she worked, where she learned to trust her own sensitivity. She said it helped her believe in her intuitive abilities in a new, grounded way.

That’s what Reiki does.
It helps you remember your own sensitivity… and that your sensitivity is a strength.

Another student told me that what she appreciated most wasn’t just the energy work—it was the way the class felt. Grounded. Safe. Welcoming. She loved that no one was left behind, that questions were encouraged, that every voice mattered. That’s always my intention: not to lecture, but to create a space where everyone’s wisdom becomes part of the room.

And then there are the moments in Reiki Teacher Training that take my breath away. One of my Level 4 trainees had known for over 20 years that she would someday teach Reiki—she just didn’t know when or with whom. When she told me she felt welcomed, supported, and truly seen as she stepped into her teacher-self… that I was the “right person, right place, right time”… I felt such deep gratitude.

Teaching Reiki is one of the greatest honors of my life—not because of the techniques, but because of the transformations I get to witness.

What many people don’t realize is that Reiki training starts changing you long before you ever practice on someone else. It’s not about memorizing symbols or perfecting hand positions. It’s about connection—to yourself, to your intuition, and to the energy that’s been flowing through you your entire life, even before you knew its name.

Students come into class thinking they’re learning Reiki…
but what they’re really learning… is themselves.

And that’s why Reiki is never a hard sell. Reiki finds people when they’re ready. Sometimes through a whisper, sometimes through a nudge, sometimes through a perfectly timed synchronicity.

If you’ve been feeling that pull—even the softest version of it—trust it.
Reiki has a way of calling you when the timing is right.

And if you do feel called to begin this journey, I teach all four levels of Reiki, each designed to support a different stage of your growth:

🌿 Reiki Level 1 — Self-Healing & Awakening
A gentle introduction to your own energy field. This level focuses on personal healing, intuition, grounding, and reconnecting with yourself.

🌿 Reiki Level 2 — Practicing on Others
You learn sacred symbols, distance Reiki, and how to work confidently with the energy fields of others. This is where many students begin to feel the calling to help heal the world around them.

🌿 Reiki Level 3 — Reiki Master Training
Advanced skills, deeper intuitive development, and stepping into your Master frequency. Students often describe Level 3 as the moment everything “clicks.”

🌿 Reiki Level 4 — Teacher Training
A heart-opening initiation into becoming a Reiki teacher. You learn attunements, co-teaching techniques, and how to guide others on their healing journey.

A little bit about me, in case we’re just meeting:

My name is Dawn Hamilton, and I’m a Reiki Master Teacher, multidimensional energy healer, intuitive guide, and speaker. My work blends Reiki, the Akashic Records, light language, and quantum energy healing into a grounded, heart-led experience. My greatest joy is witnessing the exact moment a student realizes:
“I can do this. I can feel this. I was always meant for this.”

And nothing expresses the heart of this work better than the voices of my students.

One student shared:

“I couldn’t recommend a class with Dawn enough. The experience has been life-changing for me. Not only did I learn Reiki techniques, but I learned a lot about myself along the way too. Dawn creates a grounded, supportive, and welcoming space where you feel safe to explore, ask questions, and grow at your own pace. If you’re considering taking a class with her, know that you will be met with wisdom, kindness, and a community that supports you long after the classroom.”

And another reflected:

“Dawn’s teaching style is warm, clear, and incredibly supportive. I always felt seen and encouraged. She has a gift for creating a safe space for transformation, and her classes flow with such ease and heart. Working with her has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my spiritual journey.”

Who you become in a Reiki class matters just as much as what you learn.
And if you ever feel called to begin—or continue—that journey, I would be honored to walk beside you.
